Well my time here is rapidly coming to an end and its time to return to the shivering cold of Greenisland. Im just about to fly late this evening from Melbourne to Sydney and ready to leave here Wed afternoon. I did forget to mention yesterday though that the pastor of Port Campbell Baptist Church was a dead ringer for Robin Bassett but he also had a touch of the Paul Hutchinson's about him.

God has been so good in hundreds of ways and I have been so aware of "the unseen hand" guiding me along the way. Yesterday afternoon as we were driving back along the Great Ocean Road we gave a lift to a young hitchhiker called Dwayne. What an important conversation that turned out to be! Later, we chatted informally to a young Canadian couple who had both given up their professional jobs to travel the world. (we were watching kangaroos at the time!!) I told them Id just been reading a book about a man who had been a Baptist pastor in Quebec (French-speaking Canada) all his life (Tom Carson)and that opened up another conversation. Isnt it amazing how "the unseen hand" guides us. Not least in the fact that last night we were given a free upgrade to fantastic accommodation in the place we were staying! (I love anything FREE!!)
