THE GBC PEACE PLAN

As a church we currently support and partner 5 Mission Agencies with varying aspects of mission work covering the main areas under the title PEACE.
What's PEACE you may say.  Well it stands for:

• Planting Churches
• Equip Leaders
• Assist the Poor
• Care for the Sick
• Educate the next Generation

• SIM: The mission we had our first missionary with, Susanne Spence, They are involved in medical, education, church planting, evangelism and many other forms of work. Lyn Williamson works in the Belfast office.


• Baptist Missions: working in Peru; France; Spain; ireland & a Russian speakers work. They are involved in Church planting, education, evangelism & Bible college work. We take a particular interest in the team in Algeciras in Spain which is headed up by the Reids, and the work in Cork and Ballycullen in Ireland.


• HCJB: Involved in Radio work in Asia, S America and the Middle east and North Africa as well as medical work in Peru. Of course Stuart is working with the NAME region in Spain as an engineer.


• Mission Africa: Work in Africa in education. care for the poor and evangelism among many other works.


• Wycliffe Bible Translators / JAARS: The major thrust Is translation of the Word into mother tongues and this is backed up by logistics. medical, education and transport, The Grays are working in the JAARS wing of WBT (Jungle Aviation and Radio Service) in Papua Indonesia.
