"Relying on relevant Bible study, More encourages young people to come to, grow in, and live out their faith in God together, in both the Church and their Lives"

The above is our purpose for More, the youth fellowship of Greenisland Baptist Church.

More takes place in the church building from 8.30 to 10.00pm on a Sunday night, after the Sunday evening church service.

Through the above purpose statement and the five purposes of the church, More strives to help young people become better, deeper, more grounded Christians, able to use their faith in God to do life together.

The church's five purposes are seen in action in More and through the purpose statement as:

Discipleship: We use the Bible as the basis for teaching about God. Other studies may be used to enlighten an issue, but they must always be based on sound biblical truth.

Evangelism: More equips and encourages its members to talk to their friends and families about God and to teach the members how to talk about God with their friends and families.

Worship: Worship is a lifestyle. This cannot be emphasised enough. More aims to strengthen this fact when the members do life together and help each other through whatever they are facing.

Fellowship: When we talk about fellowship we mean trying to do life together, being accountable to each other, loving and caring for each other in the good times and the bad times, going deeper into each other's lives to encourage give encouragement in our Christian walk.

Ministry: How can we help? How can we play a role in the church where we are useful and can strengthen the body of Christ? Everyone has a role to play in the Church. More members have as much to contribute to the church as any other organisation in the church. The enthusiasm and willingness to challenge the norm that young people are forever showing is something Greenisland Baptist Church will always benefit from.
